I really like the new Blogger. It only becomes more and more user-friendly, while Xanga becomes more unwieldy. But even with the new Blogger improvements, I’m finding that it’s only trying to emulate wordpress and still doesn’t integrate with any of the other Google-powered properties. And it feels good to type in this box again. It really does.
I smell a change brewing. With so many of them afoot, it shouldn’t be a surprise.

It’s my last day at On Center Software and I’m working overtime to finish a project. My eyes are burning and I’m procrastinating on gtting the last 20% knocked out. At least there might be a nice bonus check at the end of this one.

I’m actually starting to get excited about moving to Chicago. Just the teensiest bit. Let’s pray I still am the first time I step into 9 degree weather or Michelle calls me on the phone or on Friday afternoon when I’m facing a weekend alone instead of friends all around. I need more faith.
The words last day hit like bricks. It’s still surreal.
5 days until I leave Texas for Illinois.

Hey… so happy you’re getting a tad bit excited about the move. It’s good… change. But yeah, just be determined not to let the “I’m alone in a big city where I know absolutely no one” blues get the upper hand. It’s rough, and you’re going to have to consciously fight them.
Mucho luck, my friend.
